Woofie Walkies offers ALL services 7 days a week including bank holidays. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
I will be your dog walker and you will meet with me for your initial 30-minute free meet & greet consultation. Our meet & greet will give you an opportunity to ask me any questions you may have, and it will give your dog the opportunity to give their waggy tail of approval.
I appreciate that there may be a circumstance where you are visiting the area or you are looking for some last minute help and in these such circumstances I will provide you with as much information in relation to myself as possible and I will keep you updated with photos during the time your pet is with me.
Yes, Woofie Walkies is fully insured, DBS checked and I hold a certificate in First Aid. You may ask to see a copy of my insurance certificate at the time of your meet & greet consultation.
For your convenience, I will invoice you at the end of each month for the services that have been provided to you. I ask that payment is received by bank transfer within 5 working days.
If you would like to book a one off or ad-hoc services then I ask for cash payment or bank transfer at the end of each service.
If you pre-book a block booking of 15 walks or more, you will receive a 10% discount, payment will be taken in advance of these services.
I do everything to ensure your dog is kept safe at all times. In the unlikely event of an emergency, Woofie Walkies will contact you using the emergency contact number that you will have provided me in our consultation. If veterinary assistance is required, Woofie Walkies will take your pet to your named vet or depending on the circumstances, to the nearest veterinary practice.
If you have any concerns, these can be discussed at our initial consultation. I offer solo walks if preferred.
It is Woofie Walkies policy not to walk your dog when in season. I am happy to visit your dog to provide company during the day and to give your dog their toilet break.
I do not walk any dogs with aggressive tendencies or any dog that is registered under the dangerous dogs act.
No, you may share a set of keys with Woofie Walkies and allow me to collect and drop off your dog when you are not at home. Alternatively, you can leave your keys in a secure key box.
Please be assured that I will never label your keys with your address.
Woofies Walkies offers flexibility and understands that your plans and commitments may change at short notice.
Where possible, please give me 24 hours’ notice by contacting me by mobile: 07502 481202 or email: rosie@woofiewalkies.com.
If you fail to give me notice of cancellation and I arrive at your home, please understand that you will be charged in full.
Yes, I offer house sitting where I stay in your home with your pet. I will discuss your needs beforehand but as an example I will arrive at your home around 5pm on the first day of your house sit, stay overnight and leave around 10:00am. I would then incorporate visits so that your dog isn’t left for more than 3 hours. I would then arrive home at 5pm and repeat each day you are away. Please contact me to discuss further.
From an infant through to my teens I grew up with a German Shepherd in our family. My dad competed in obedience training and as a family we enjoyed many hours with our much-loved family GS dog.
In my teens and my twenties, I owned my first dog, a Shetland Sheepdog, whom I obedience trained and who was my best buddy.
Due to working commitments I didn’t own a dog for 15 years instead during this time I walked other people’s dogs for them at weekends and after work.
I now own a 2 ½ year old Goldendoodle who is extremely intelligent, enjoys scent work, has high energy and thrives on making new friends every day. It is fair to say, he keeps me on my toes!
I have diplomas in canine behaviour and canine communication and I am currently studying dog training.
I have owned other small pets including rabbits, hamsters and a cat.
I am a qualified Pet First Aid Trainer.
